Office Essentials - Post-it
Post-it notes are a type of adhesive notepad that has become ubiquitous in offices, schools, and households around the world. They are typically small, square or rectangular pieces of paper with a strip of the low-tack adhesive along the back.
They were invented by Dr. Spencer Silver, a chemist at 3M, in 1968. Dr. Silver was attempting to create a super-strong adhesive but instead discovered a low-tack, reusable adhesive that could be easily attached and detached from surfaces without leaving a residue.
