Which Paper Shredder should you buy?

It is essential to understand a paper shredder’s performance, features, and specifications before purchase. By understanding your shredder, you can avoid dissapointment.
 
Small shredders often only have a run time of a few minutes, so you won't be able to clear last years paperwork in one go.
Keep an eye on the duty cycle for the shredder you are considering. Larger machines will have run times ranging from 15 minutes up to 60 minutes.
 
There are 4 main types of shred cut available. Strip cut, cross cut, mini cut and micro cut.
The product filter will let you select the shred cut type as well as the security level available.
 
We would always advise to get the most secure shred cut to dispose of your documents as securely as possible.
Finer cut mini and micro shred also takes up less room, decreasing time between having to empty the shredder bin.
Don't forget any paper shredder will be more secure than disposing of your documents directly in a bin.
